Sempre venies darrere,

que t’ensenyara cançons;

i ara que en saps, de  boniques,

t’amagues pels carrerons.

so that I trained you songs;

and now you know many, and fine,

but you are hiding in the alleys.

 

De la flor de la farina,

de la bromera del vi,

s’ha fet quatre mocadors

Pepeta la del Morquí.

Pepeta “from the Morquí”

has made herself four handkerchieves,

with the flower flour

and with the wine froth.

 

Santa Anna para en Albaida,

Sant Vicent en Agullent,

la Mare de Déu en Agres

i Sant Blai en Bocairent.

Saint Anne stops in Albaida,

Saint Vincent in Agullent,

the Virgin in Agres

and Saint Blaise in Bocairent.
