Una fa arròs i ceba,

l’altra, caldero fa;

l’altra, fa tarongetes;

i l’altra, una gaspatxa[d]a.

One of the women cooks rice with onion

and the another prepares “caldero” [= cauldron],

another cooks oranges

and another a “gaspatxada” [= great gazpacho].

 

Que bé que se disfruta

quan estem per allí,

no contem els empenyos

que mos deixem aquí,

no contem els empenyos

que mos deixem aquí.
